- Bus stops are provided along the way in specific locations.
- Our door-to-door minibus shuttle service will take you safely and directly from your hotel, hostel or rental house in Tamarindo beach to Montezuma beach in Costa Rica.
- Surfboards on shared shuttles are $15 each for boards under 6 feet and $20 each for boards 6 feet or larger.
- We set a departing time for each destination, however the minibus has to go through town picking everyone up and that takes a few extra minutes.
- Costa Rica is a beautiful country, but the infrastructure is uncertain and our geography does not help either, so some sections of the route may include bumpy and dusty roads on your way to Montezuma.

Van was on time. The driver was very nice. We stopped once or twice during the trip for a break. The van was comfortable with great air conditioning. We booked 2 trips through this company. Pleased with our overall experience and recommend them.

Overpriced service
Went from Tamarindo to Montezuma. The driver was nice and there was Wifi. But the car was not in the best condition. Nearly no seatbelt was working, Aircondition couldn't be adjusted and the floor became very hot. Made many breaks which took forever, the whole trip took like forever, picked up people at so many different spots. The company should drive more cars and Run them more directly, for 60$ pP the service is overpriced.

Our travel is from Tamarindo to Montezuma, I checked online & compared some companies, & confirmed Tropical Tours Shuttle. It is Ok for everything, but I would like to give a suggestion: the booking procedure can simplified if possible. First I sent a request form, then received confirmation letter, & inform me to pay. As a traveler, we could not wait for mails & response.

Tropical tours shuttle was great. Driver arrived early and vehicle was comfortable with good air con. We had a stop for a comfort break and to grab a coffee. Good value

Tamarindo to Montezuma
I am blown away by all these positive reviews I do not think it was a very good company to book a shuttle with at all. The driver was very late and didn't even say hi to us at all. He just rudely ushered us into his bus and stormed to drive away as quickly as possible. He did not speak any English at all whatsoever and refused to explain where he was going and what to expect (I know some Spanish but he made little effort to make us feel safe) He also randomly stopped somewhere to switch buses but basically just barked at us to get off. We got on another bus and that driver was just as bad as the first. It's almost as if the employer has a negative culture as the non verbal communication of the drivers were poor. (I work with people for a living so I have a pretty good idea about this) There was then a third driver that we met on the narrow highway and we swapped drivers. Nobody on the bus knew what was going on. A simple explanation goes along ways.

Very organized transport
I used Tropical shuttle for a trip from Tamarindo to Montezuma close to New Year's Eve. They were very organized and punctual.
