- Surfboards on shared shuttles are USD 15 each for boards under 6 feet and USD 20 each for boards 6 feet or larger.
- We set a departing time for each destination, however the minibus has to go through town picking everyone up and that takes a few extra minutes.
- Costa Rica is a beautiful country, but the infrastructure is uncertain and our geography does not help either, so some sections of the route may include bumpy and dusty roads on your way to Liberia Airport.

Prompt! Polite! Comfortable! Santa Teresa to Liberia Airport. Our driver was very courteous and stopped when the kids needed a potty break. I would recommend them to anyone needing a private family shuttle!

Used this service for shared transport from Santa Teresa (main road pickup) to Liberia airport. Email correspondence asked me to be outside my hotel location at 6:45am, and I got picked up at 7:00am. I don’t mind a 15-20 min wait. To be expected. 5 stars go to Juan who always answered my emails quickly with patience and respect. 5 stars to the drivers (had to change over shuttles in Nicoya). 2 stars for shuttle comfort. It was not easy on the back. The seats had no recline and were a slightly padded L shaped seat with no arm rests. Again, not the easiest to enjoy a 5 hour ride. But for $50 for a 4 hour journey, I guess I’ll take it. Private transport is $230 otherwise

Great for solo travelers!
I took Tropical Tours both from Tamarindo to Santa Teresa and back from Santa Teresa to Liberia Airport. They were punctual, well organized and the cars were clean. They will connect with other buses at gas stations usually and transition people depending on where they are heading. This also gives you a chance to get some food and use the toilet. It does add time to the travel, but for the price it’s to be expected. The drivers don’t speak much English, but they’re nice and the reservation service was great and all in English. This was honestly the best value by far for solo travelers to get around Guanacaste!

Used tropical tours shuttle to get from Santa Teresa Beach to Liberia Airport for my outgoing flight. Very reliable, on time, easy to schedule and use! I most definitely recommend!

Great Service!
Nice new vehicles with good AC and WIFI. I’ve used them a few times to go to Liberia airport and Nosara from Santa Teresa. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are definitely the best way to get around and I look forward to riding with them again real soon.
