- Surfboard fees: $15 per board under 6 feet; $20 per board 6 feet or larger.

- Bus stops are provided along the way in specific locations.
- Our door-to-door minibus shuttle service will take you safely and directly from your hotel, hostel or rental house in San Jose Airport to Montezuma beach in Costa Rica.
- Surfboards on shared shuttles are $15 each for boards under 6 feet and $20 each for boards 6 feet or larger.
- We set a departing time for each destination, however the minibus has to go through town picking everyone up and that takes a few extra minutes.
- Costa Rica is a beautiful country, but the infrastructure is uncertain and our geography does not help either, so some sections of the route may include bumpy and dusty roads on your way to Montezuma.

Tropical Tours was a great experience for us - traveling from San Jose airport to Montezuma, in the Nicoya Peninsula. We were picked up at our hotel - and then driven (with just 6 other passengers in a van) to our hotel in Montezuma - including a 1'15" ferry ride, after which we were picked up by another driver on the other side! There was a last-minute change in scheduling (due to a change in schedule for the ferry service), but it all worked out fine. Traveling with Tropical Tours is a great deal financially - and a very pleasant way to make the journey (about 5 hours total). And they were accommodating when we asked to be picked up at a different location upon our return.

Fast transport between SJO & Montezuma.
Our driver was a little late, but we made up the time on the road. The van was comfortable and air-conditioned. This shuttle was the fastest and most convenient way to travel between the airport and Montezuma.

Great customer service!
I took the shuttle from SJO to Montezuma and will be taking it back at the end of the month as well. Pickup was on time, and my driver Byron made me feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. I’ll definitely recommend Tropical Tours and use them every time I visit Costa Rica!
