We had a great experience, we got picked up at san jose airport and got dropped off in santa teresa. We also used them to bring us back to the airport. Everything was smooth and easy, the staff is also so nice and accommodating.

We had Tropical Tours Shuttle take us from San Jose Airport to Santa Teresa and they were a wonderful. We had a private shuttle which took us to the ferry and then pick us up a the other side. The drivers were very friendly, professional, helped us with our luggage, and taught us Spanish during the drive. We would recommend them to anyone.

We used Tropical Tours shuttle service from San Jose airport to Santa Teresa and it was the best decision we could have made. They were extremely responsive to the request and provided excellent communication before our arrival. Pricing and payment were very easy and we received email copies of everything. Melvin was our driver who picked us up and he was absolutely amazing. His van was spotless and had tons of room for our large family with all of our luggage. He offered various stops for groceries, food and restrooms. He was very helpful and informative about both the journey and Costa Rica in general. It was such and easy process that I can’t imagine doing it any other way.

We used tropical tours for a shuttle to Santa Teresa from San Jose airport. Everything with them was very efficient and everyone we dealt with was incredible helpful especially Leo who helped us out in so many ways over our stay in Santa Teresa. Great Shuttle Service!

My GF and I took the shuttle from SJO to Santa Teresa and it was smooth and easy. We traveled with large surfboard bags and large backpacks and there was plenty of room for our stuff. Pick up at the airport then drive to ferry – ferry ride across the bay – get on second shuttle with drop off on the driveway of our airbnb. I could not be any easier!

Great way to get from San José to Nicoya

We took the shuttle from Allejuela (near airport) to Malpais. They picked us up on time, gave us our ferry tickets, took a photo, and another driver picked us up on the other side. The first driver gave us some historical information and a breakfast recommendation. Highly recommended, good value.

Great Shuttle Company

We hired Tropical Tours Shuttles to bring us from San Jose Airport to Santa Teresa and they were great! We had two drivers, one before the ferry and one afterwards, and they were both professional, kind, and taught us Spanish the whole ride. We will definitely use them again.

Worth the cost

Hassle-free transport to Santa Teresa from San José airport. The driver kept a safe speed, and although the bus was crammed, cofort was ok. But do look over the seatbelts in some of the buses please.

Great door to door service.

Booked and paid online in advance and the shuttle was there on time to pick me up from a hotel I’d stayed in near San Jose airport and took me to Santa Teresa via a ferry. The ferry was organised by them and included in the price. I was impressed so booked them for the return leg of my journey.
