Price ranges to Liberia Airport terminal starting at: $50 per person on shared shuttles departing at 08:00am and 02:15pm. $140 per trip for a private minibus. It’s a 3 hour ride from Nosara beach in Guanacaste to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Our door to door minibus shuttle service will take you safe and directly from your hotel, hostel or rental house in Nosara beach to Liberia Airport LIR and Liberia Town. In case you have a flight in the afternoon please make sure you check our arrival times at the terminal.

- Remember that surfboards are allowed at no extra charge in our minibuses.
- We set a departing time for each destination, however the minibus has to go through the town picking everyone up and that takes a few extra minutes.
- Costa Rica is a beautiful country, but the infrastructure is uncertain and our geography doesn’t help either, that’s why in some sections of the route you will have to go through bumpy and dusty roads on your way to Liberia Airport.

- Bus stops are provided along the way in case you need it.
- Our minibuses can carry up to 10 persons, however after 4 persons there is an extra charge of $20 per person.
- Tropical Tours Shuttles will pick you up at any time with the private shuttle service, just make your reservation 24 hours before departure and we will meet you at the established time. Please note that pickups between 9:00pm and 6:00am will have an extra charge of $20 due to the time.

I took the shuttle from Nosara to the Liberia airport. Since there is a minimum of two people per shuttle (and I was traveling on a slow day), I paid the price for two passengers. This was still less than any other private car options. The trip was fast and uneventful. The driver even offered to stop at a market before the airport to save me some money on airport food 🙂 I especially loved how well the office staff communicated as I was arranging the ride. They responded more or less immediately to my questions and were very patient as I tried to figure out arrangements. I stayed at a private home in the hills, and had to get a ride to the main road to meet the driver. But this was just a small inconvenience. Over all, I would recommend. Thanks!
The shuttle picked us up on time on both the outbound and inbound trips to Liberia airport. The drivers drove in a safe manner but did not waste time.
