- Remember that surfboards are allowed at no extra charge in our minibuses.
- We set a departing time for each destination, however the minibus has to go through the town picking everyone up and that takes a few extra minutes.
- Costa Rica is a beautiful country, but the infrastructure is uncertain and our geography doesn’t help either, that’s why in some sections of the route you will have to go through bumpy and dusty roads on your way to Santa Teresa beach.

- Bus stops are provided along the way in case you need it.
- Our minibuses can carry up to 10 persons, however after 4 persons there is an extra charge of $20 per person.
- Tropical Tours Shuttles will pick you up at any time with the private shuttle service, just make your reservation 24 hours before departure and we will meet you at the established time. Please note that pickups between 9:00pm and 6:00am will have an extra charge of $20 due to the time.

I took tropical tour shuttles from Tamarindo to Santa Teresa and had no problems. They arrived at my hotel to pick me up on time and dropped me off at my hotel in Santa Teresa without any problems. We changed busses once which went smoothly. The drivers were also very friendly.
We were 3 and traveld with a shared bus. Everything went smoothly and there were no problems! Unfortunately, the WIFI did not work. However, very good experience and very good price!
I took the shuttle form Tamarindo to Santa Teresa and then back a week later. Both time the shuttle came on time and the chauffeur drove very well. The shuttles this company uses are extremely comfortable and have wide seats. The AC has tenedency to be a bit too cold but since all of us passengers felt too cold we could ask for adjustment as well for the music being too loud. the chauffeur was very accomodating and we all enjoyed a nice ride. The internet worked when the signals could reach and it is very pleasant to be able to use it during the journey. I recommend this company. they are very well organised.

I had two trips with Tropical Tours traveling from Tamarindo to Santa Teresa and back. The vehicles were comfortable, well as comfortable as a van can be. The A/C worked on both vehicles which made a huge difference. The drivers were professional, helping with bags and on the back end asking people where they would like to be dropped off. I’ve already two several other travelers to use their service.
Taken on Feb 1/18. Tropical shuttles picked us up on time with a larger vehicle than we expected- a 24 seater. It was very comfortable and kept us nice & cool. The driver was fantastic and drove very responsibly over the winding hilly area. A very, very pleasant ride!
Used Tropical Tours to go from Tamarindo to Santa Teresa. Departed and arrived on time. They stopped along the way for food and a bathroom break. It is door-to-door service.
Excellent service. Travelling tamarindo to santa teresa, The road was flooded today so the company paid for our ferry rides around the flooded section of road and sent another vehicle to pick us up on the other side. Made for a long day but they got us where we needed to be. Much appreciated!!
