- Remember that surfboards are allowed at no extra charge in our minibuses.
- We set a departing time for each destination, however the minibus has to go through the town picking everyone up and that takes a few extra minutes.
- Costa Rica is a beautiful country, but the infrastructure is uncertain and our geography doesn’t help either, that’s why in some sections of the route you will have to go through bumpy and dusty roads on your way to Liberia Airport.

- Our minibuses can carry up to 10 persons, however after 4 persons there is an extra charge of $20 per person.
- Tropical Tours Shuttles will pick you up at any time with the private shuttle service, just make your reservation 24 hours before departure and we will meet you at the established time. Please note that pickups between 9:00pm and 6:00am will have an extra charge of $20 due to the time.

Prompt! Polite! Comfortable! Santa Teresa to Liberia Airport. Our driver was very courteous and stopped when the kids needed a potty break. I would recommend them to anyone needing a private family shuttle!
I took Tropical Tours both from Tamarindo to Santa Teresa and back from Santa Teresa to Liberia Airport. They were punctual, well organized and the cars were clean. They will connect with other buses at gas stations usually and transition people depending on where they are heading. This also gives you a chance to get some food and use the toilet. It does add time to the travel, but for the price it’s to be expected. The drivers don’t speak much English, but they’re nice and the reservation service was great and all in English. This was honestly the best value by far for solo travelers to get around Guanacaste!
Used tropical tours shuttle to get from Santa Teresa Beach to Liberia Airport for my outgoing flight. Very reliable, on time, easy to schedule and use! I most definitely recommend!
Nice new vehicles with good AC and WIFI. I’ve used them a few times to go to Liberia airport and Nosara from Santa Teresa. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are definitely the best way to get around and I look forward to riding with them again real soon.
